Our Proudest Day

It was probably my most satisfying day.
The day we all have been waiting for.
Finally, I was able to throw my jockey cap
way up high, and with that
I threw away all those bad energies I had ever had about
my BMT. I felt a sense of joy, I was proud of myself.

It felt like it was just a couple weeks ago I was dragging
my boots to book in. Having to settle in a new environment,
new regimental routines, I thought I couldn't pull through.
I was never athletic nor was I so into becoming a soldier.

Military wasn't my field at all. It was like putting a fish
in the air asking it to fly. But impossible is nothing.
Now, at the state that I am, I feel Happy to know how far I've come.
My BMT experience has mould me into someone stronger, faster and
better. I use to fear NS so much it is ridiculous now to think of
it.

Not only did I gain knowledge but also good friends for life.
Those who we call brothers in arms. HAHA.
Thank you for the wonderful times we shared.
So it's true afterall to the caption on the banner just before you enter
the compound of the training ground, it says
Its not what you leave behind, but what you'll gain in the days ahead.
I use to snicker to myself when I read this. Not anymore I guess for now
Im a traaaaaaainnnnned soulja!

In conclusion, I pretty much believe you all would notice,
Im Happy.
